News 2008
The season kicked off with the Malvern Spring Garden Show in early May. Despite apprehensive concerns about the "credit crunch " this was an excellent show surpassing previous years in sales and interest. Hopefully, it has set a precedent for the year ahead.
Although I am not showing in the South East of England as often as I used to, there will be opportunities to see my work at the Hatfield "Art in Clay" event in August and at the South Hill Park Craft Show in November.
The Winter Months are normally a great time for developing new work and this year a new range of lustreware shows promise for the future. In the tubeline range new floral designs incude "Thistles" and " Hellebore". The Facepots too have not been neglected.
A pleasing feature has been the increasing demand for work from UK Art Pottery. I will be involved in a special annual exhibiton at the Holdenwood Centre in October. It is a great chance for anyone based in the North to have a look at what I am doing these days.
