“Marsh Helleborine” satin lustre plaque

This plaque is tubelined with a fine line of slip and painted with underglaze colours. It is fired and then dipped in a special satin matt glaze and fired again. Finally it is painted with compounds of silver and copper and fired in reduction to reveal the lustrous effect.
