SECOND - “Welsh poppy” flambé vase

This piece is a second and would retail at £120 in good condition. It has a slight fault line across the top of the rim. See last picture.

This vase is tubelined with a fine outline of slip which gives the design a three dimensional effect, painted with underglaze colours and finally decorated with metallic lustres. It is then fired in a special reduction firing which reveals the lustrous effects.

Approx. 18 cm x 11 cm x 5.5 cm.

Signed on the base or reverse with name of the design.
