“Welsh poppy” satin lustre vase

This vase is tubelined with a fine line of slip and painted with underglaze colours. It is fired and then dipped in a satin matt glaze which I have specifically formulated to enhance the lustre development. Finally it is painted with compounds of silver and copper and fired in reduction.
