"Fritillary Meadow" lustre flambe bowl
The effects on this bowl are really emphasised by the light playing on the lustres revealing beautiful pinks and copper on the ochre background.
This range of work is created by cutting existing clay forms and re-assembling them into interesting asymmetrical shapes.
Tubelined with a fine outline of slip, painted with underglaze colours and decorated with metallic lustres. This bowl is then fired in a special reduction firing which reveals the lustrous effects.
