“Iris” flambé lustre vase - 1

This range of work is created by cutting existing forms and re-assembling them into interesting asymmetrical shapes.

This vase is tubelined with a fine line of slip which gives a three dimensional effect to the design and painted with underglaze colours. It is decorated with metallic lustres and fired in a special reduction firing which reveals the lustrous effects.
